Akash has a primary focus on financial modeling, due diligence, and execution of new investments.

Prior to joining Bonaccord, Akash was a Senior Private Equity Associate at Edgelight Capital in New York, where he evaluated and executed investments in the technology, telecom, and digital infrastructure sectors. Previously, he was an Investment Associate in the Special Situations group at Kohlberg Kravis Roberts, focusing on opportunistic credit, capital solutions, and asset-backed finance. He began his career as an Investment Banking Analyst in the Healthcare Group at Lazard in San Francisco, advising on M&A transactions for pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.

Akash earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Environmental Studies from the University of Chicago.
